Faith Formation for Children and Youth
We offer religion classes for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. If you have a child in this age group who does not attend a Catholic school, they should be involved in our program. Classes are held during the school year on Sunday mornings in between the two morning Masses. Families are encouraged to participate in this program so that trained catechists (teachers of the faith) may assist parents in the religious education of their children.
We offer age-appropriate teachings of the Church, preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation, and a wonderful faith community for the child and entire family. For those Ninth Grade and older, we have a thriving youth group where teens participate in service to the community on a regular basis, as well as social activities. Please watch the bulletin this summer for information about registration for classes beginning in the fall. All children and youth are welcome and encouraged to participate, including those with special needs or circumstances. Please contact us for information or with questions or concerns.

Bible Study
The Women’s Bible Study group will begin a study on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Sessions will be Tuesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 AM in the Benvegnu Center.
We will begin with Romans: The Gospel of Salvation.
Paul’s letter to the Romans has been at the center of reflection, conversion, and controversy from the very beginning. Indeed, many Catholics fear that Romans is too “Protestant.” But understood correctly, as St. Paul intended, Romans is authentically Catholic. Romans reveals that salvation is not merely the removal of a guilty verdict; it is about entering into Christ’s life, death, and resurrection and sharing in his divine life.
Watch the bulletin for more details over the next couple of weeks. We ask that you register by no later than August 31st so we have time to order materials and supplies.
We are hoping to offer this study one evening in addition to the morning session. More information will be coming next week so watch for that.
