Classes for children have started! However, we are always happy to have a child enter the program. If you have not registered, please contact the Religious Education Office right away to get your child in class as soon as possible.

General Information……

We offer Pre-K through 8th grade classes. Certified volunteer instructors assist students in developing an awareness of the presence of God through the sacraments, liturgies, and church history. Classes are held on Sunday mornings 10:15 to 11:15 AM in the school building.

All children are welcome and encouraged to attend!

These classes are fun for your child, and an important part of their faith formation. Call now to get signed up, or drop in on Sunday morning and we will get you registered. We accept new students all year long!

If you are new to the Parish, we would love to welcome you and your children into our community. Please call anytime- someone would love to talk with you about our program and how we can best assist you in teaching our faith to your children.

Adult Religious Formation

We would like to start a discussion or Bible Study group during this time. Please meet in the Religious Ed. Office (in the North end of the  school) after you drop off your kids at class, to discuss what topics or areas of study you would like to see offered.

Faith enrichment for Catholic Adults will take place each Sunday, following the same schedule as the children’s classes.  Sessions are held in the end of the school by the Religious Education Office. Topics will vary based on suggestions and input from those attending. Come enjoy a cup of coffee, casual learning environment, and the good company of other Catholic adults.

First Penance, First Holy Communion and Confirmation

Preparation for the sacraments is a two year process. Therefore, children who would like to make their First Holy Communion in the Second Grade need to be in a Catholic School or Religious Education Program in First Grade. Those who wish to be Confirmed in the Eighth Grade need to be in a Catholic School or Religious Education Program in the Seventh Grade.

If you have a situation where this has not happened, please contact us and we will work with you to figure out the best way to prepare your child to recieve the sacraments.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Volunteers read and discuss the gospel with children ages 3 – 7 (or prior to First Communion) during part of the 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mass.
